Is it a good idea to create a Google+ Page for photographers? This post was originally published on Techacker - http://www.techacker.com/2014/08/is-it-a-good-idea-to-create-a-google-page-for-photographers/
Is it really a good idea to create a Business Page for photographers?
I was in the process of establishing online presence for my photography website. I created Twitter, Facebook fan page and also created a Google+ Page. But I am having second thoughts about the idea of a Google+ Page though.
Here is my thought process:
1. As a photographer, I am the business. So essentially my personal profile is in fact my business profile. Why would I confuse people going to two different locations on web, when they can just know me as a photographer.
2. Creating a page means that I need to separately grow it to have followers and all. (Another advantage of sticking to my personal profile.)
3. All people who knew me personally as a photographer will now go to a separate page, that they may or may not recognize or associate with me.
4. In my opinion for any business that is run by the owner’s name shouldn’t create a separate business page on Google+.
What do you think? What are your views about it? What do you see as a shortcoming of not having a separate business page in this case?
To all my friends. A very happy and wonderful friendship day to you. Have a great time and may God give you strength to follow your passions and fulfill your dreams. How old is this tree? Is there a way to tell by looking at the circles on the stem.
I can not complain about #LGG3 camera at all. Super sharp (laser sharp) focus…
I took this photo today evening near Buffalo Wild Wings in Rochester Hills around 10-15min to 10PM. I doubt my SLR can capture such vivid colors at this hour.
What do you think?
(P. S. : I slightly edited this photo in #Snapseed and added my logo using #Pixlr - all on the phone.) https://www.facebook.com/anuragbansalphotography/photos/a.1495581654009257.1073741831.1487495658151190/1502947849939304/?type=1
